The delegation was led by the Convener of AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards and Executive Director of Global Awareness for Development Initiatives (GLADi), Ambassador David AllGreen Fiase, alongside members of the organising committee and strategic partners. The maiden edition of the AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards was held on March 13, 2026, at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja and attracted policymakers, youth advocates, development partners, fashion stakeholders, media practitioners, and distinguished guests from across Africa and beyond. Speaking during the visit, Ambassador David AllGreen Fiase expressed gratitude to the management of Transcorp Hilton Abuja for their unwavering support, professionalism, and world-class hospitality. The organisers noted that the event will bring together traditional rulers, government officials, diplomats, business leaders, cultural enthusiasts, and members of the Igala community from Nigeria and the diaspora to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and achievements of the Igala nation. Members of the delegation included the President and Convener of the Igala Carnival, Hajia Mariam Indira Mohammed, and prominent Igala son and cultural advocate, Honourable Godwin Meliga. Also involved in the preparations for both events is renowned media strategist and international public relations expert, Dr. Alex Nwankwo, popularly known as Alex Reports, who serves as the Media and Publicity Consultant.
