GLADi & Hilton partnership.

AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards Organisers Honour Transcorp Hilton Abuja for Outstanding Partnership The organisers of the AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards, Africa's leading platform for boy-child advocacy, culture, and fashion, have paid a thank-you visit to the management of Transcorp Hilton Abuja in appreciation of the hotel's exceptional partnership and hospitality during the successful hosting of the maiden edition of the event. The delegation was led by the Convener of AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards and Executive Director of Global Awareness for Development Initiatives (GLADi), Ambassador David AllGreen Fiase, alongside members of the organising committee and strategic partners. The maiden edition of the AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards was held on March 13, 2026, at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja and attracted policymakers, youth advocates, development partners, fashion stakeholders, media practitioners, and distinguished guests from across Africa and beyond. Speaking during the visit, Ambassador David AllGreen Fiase expressed gratitude to the management of Transcorp Hilton Abuja for their unwavering support, professionalism, and world-class hospitality. "We are here to sincerely thank the management of Transcorp Hilton Abuja for believing in our vision and supporting the successful hosting of the AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards. From planning to execution, your team demonstrated excellence and professionalism, helping us deliver a memorable event that celebrated culture, fashion, and boy-child development." "The Congress Hall provided the perfect setting for the event, and we look forward to strengthening our partnership through future collaborations that promote culture, youth empowerment, and national development," he said. As part of the visit, Ambassador Fiase presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the management of Transcorp Hilton Abuja in recognition of the hotel's commitment to excellence and its support for impactful social and cultural initiatives. Responding, the General Manager of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Martin Zarybnicky, thanked the organisers for the recognition and reaffirmed the hotel's commitment to supporting initiatives that create positive social impact. "We are honoured by this recognition and delighted to have hosted the AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards. At Transcorp Hilton Abuja, we remain committed to creating exceptional experiences and supporting initiatives that contribute to youth development, cultural preservation, and national growth." "We commend Ambassador David AllGreen Fiase and his team for creating a platform that inspires young people while celebrating African culture and creativity," he stated. The visit also provided an opportunity for the delegation to formally introduce the forthcoming Igala Cultural Dinner and Awards, a flagship event marking the 10th Anniversary of the Igala Cultural Festival, scheduled to hold in August 2026 at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja. The organisers noted that the event will bring together traditional rulers, government officials, diplomats, business leaders, cultural enthusiasts, and members of the Igala community from Nigeria and the diaspora to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and achievements of the Igala nation. Members of the delegation included the President and Convener of the Igala Carnival, Hajia Mariam Indira Mohammed, and prominent Igala son and cultural advocate, Honourable Godwin Meliga. Also involved in the preparations for both events is renowned media strategist and international public relations expert, Dr. Alex Nwankwo, popularly known as Alex Reports, who serves as the Media and Publicity Consultant. Through his expertise in strategic communications, media relations, and brand visibility, he has played a key role in expanding the reach and impact of the AfriCulture Fashion Show and Awards and the forthcoming Igala Cultural Dinner and Awards. The Igala Cultural Dinner and Awards is organised in collaboration with Global Awareness for Development Initiatives (GLADi).
